15,500 dryer fires occur annually, resulting in $88 million in property damage and 15 deaths each year. "Failure to Clean" was cited as the leading factor contributing to clothes dryer fires!

This May Be Your Future Calling
In January 2007, Electrolux and Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, OH launched a collaborative, comprehensive hands-on training program focused on servicing major appliances. Lakeland Community College is located approximately 35 miles east of downtown Cleveland, off I-90 on Route 306.
Lakeland will also be working with NASTeC to develop a national certification exam. At the end of the 3-week session, trainees will be prepared to take this exam.
The program may be expanded to other partner community colleges throughout the United States after this initial presentation.
Fees: $1200 for the complete 3-week program, which includes student course materials. (Fees do not include meals or lodging. Please call for more information).
Class Size: Limited to 18 participants. Early registration is encouraged.
